Alex and Marcus were destined to meet, just not in the way they had intended. This couple is proof that when love matters most, honesty sometimes doesn’t.
Written, Directed and Produced by Alicia Rose, THE WAVE opens up with wonderful score, momentum and wit. There are a few chuckles to be had at the telephone conversation between mother and daughter. Alex, played by Penelope Morgan, is the key to the film. Her performance is spot on as a woman going on a blind date, explaining to her mom that this could be “the one”. Marcus, played by Chris Miller, is the blind date. A bit predictable, but still wonderful to see great story telling in a 6 minute format.
